Standard Return Policy

We want you to love every item you buy from LoftPlusBarn. We stand behind the quality of our products and want every puchase to be a positive experience. If, for any reason, you're not satisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to return them to LoftPlusBarn. We have outlined the following guidelines to help make your return a smooth and seamless experience:

You may return your unused Product in its original condition and original packaging within 30 days of receipt. Please initiate the return process by contacting us at support@loftplusbarn.com. We will evaluate your request and send you a Return Authorization, which has to be printed and included with other product paperwork in the return package.

After we receive the returned product, you will receive your refund in the original form of payment for the item price, less the cost of roundtrip shipping cost and a 20% restocking fee.

What is roundtrip shipping cost?
Roundtrip shipping cost is the actual shipping cost between our warehouse and your address, and from your address back to our warehouse.

Why do you assess restocking fees?
A lot of labor goes into receiving a large package into a warehouse, and a large percentage of furniture and accessories are not packaged to original factory standards. Because we always provide free shipping, we must assess restock fees on returns to account for the quantity of items that cannot be accepted or resold.

Products that are not eligible for return

    • Products not in original condition
    • Products that have been altered or modified in any way
    • Products without original packaging or used items 
    • Final sale items

    Damaged or Defective Items

    In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us immediately so we can resolve this for you as quickly as possible. All damage/defect claims have to be reported to us within 48 hours of the item’s arrival.

    What to do if you receive a damaged item -

    Take clear photos of the damaged product (in detail and full view) and the original packaging. Please keep all original packaging until otherwise notified. Please note: If your order was delivered by Freight Truck, we will also need a copy of the signed delivery slip, noting any damages to the freight. We cannot accept returns without the the original packaging and supporting paperwork for Freight Truck Claims.

    If the complete shipment is severely damaged and beyond repair, you may refuse the shipment and mark your packing slip as “damaged”. Only resort to this option if the complete shipment is beyond repair.

    Note: Clear photos of the damage are mandatory for processing a damage claim and returning or exchanging a damaged item.

    Replacement of a damaged or defective item -

    Replacement parts will be sent to make sure your item is in top quality condition. If parts cannot resolve the issue, a complete replacement will be sent at no cost to you.

    Our policy is to replace all damaged items when possible. If your item has been discontinued or sold out, we will credit you the original amount paid on the item. A refusal of a replacement would be considered a standard return and would fall under our standard return policy.

    Missing Parts or Pieces:

    Though we strive to check each and every order that leaves our warehouse, one sometimes slips through. If your order would arrive with missing parts, such as hardware or parts, incorrect color or incorrect quantity, please contact us within 48 hours of order receipt so we can send you replacements asap to complete your order.
